Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage focuses on lengthening deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. In most cases it helps loosen scar tissue.

Medical Massage

Medical Massage refers to the application of therapeutic massage techniques with the goal of improving a patient’s diagnosed health condition. An individualized treatment plan is generally created and followed by the therapists, and this is usually done in coordination with a physician or chiropractor.

Injury Therapy

Injury Therapy is a targeted modality to assist soft tissue healing. Everything from muscle pulls and strains, tendonitis, ligament sprains, and whiplash can be treated. Injury Therapy can reduce spasms, pain, and swelling. It can also decrease further injury and scar tissue.

KT Taping

KT Tape is an elastic sports tape designed to relieve pain while supporting muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

Structural Integration

Structural Integration is a type of bodywork that focuses on the connective tissue, or fascia, of the body. Fascia surrounds muscles, groups of muscles, blood vessels, organs, and nerves, binding some structures together while permitting others to slide smoothly over each other.

Dynamic Cupping

Cupping is an ancient Chinese practice where the air is removed from a cup, which is then placed on the patient’s skin. Dynamic cupping, also known as cupping-with movement, is used to treat certain types of fascial distortions causing muscle pain. Once these silicone cups are in place, the underlying muscles are contracted and taken through a range of motion. This relieves tissue tensions and results in pain relief. Cupping is relatively painless, but can leave temporary circular marks where the cups were applied. The marks indicate movement of stagnant blood as well as toxin release from underlying tissue.

Pregnancy Massage

Massage therapy can help with the aches, pains, and actual impingements that can be caused by pregnancy. This treatment uses a side-lying system to effectively treat the whole body. Techniques can help reduce low back and pelvic pain and often relieve sciatica symptoms. Pregnancy massage is used to decrease stress, swelling, aches, and soreness, and has been found to be effective at lowering stress and anxiety.
